Ons Jabeur defeated Chinese opponent Zhuoxuan Bai in straight sets in the Wimbledon second round on Friday, advancing her into the third round of the All England Championship 2023. The 28-year-old Jabeur defeated the rival in a crushing 6-1, 6-1 victory.

When Jabeur showed up for the press conference after the game, he discovered that several reporters were running late. Jabeur made the decision to keep the people waiting amused thanks to her amazing sense of humor.

The famous Tunisian joked, “Is nobody coming?”<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-63025″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-wimbledon-2023-ons-jabeur-cracks-up-reporters-at-presser-they-have-better-snacks-inside-maybe-images-2023-07-08t170928.264.jpg” alt=”” width=”1182″ height=”662″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-wimbledon-2023-ons-jabeur-cracks-up-reporters-at-presser-they-have-better-snacks-inside-maybe-images-2023-07-08t170928.264.jpg 300w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-wimbledon-2023-ons-jabeur-cracks-up-reporters-at-presser-they-have-better-snacks-inside-maybe-images-2023-07-08t170928.264-150×84.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1182px) 100vw, 1182px” />

She had been announced for the engagement, a reporter in the crowd said.

I’ve been told, right? But nobody is here,” the 28-year-old jokingly said.

Jabeur was so graciously kind in response to the reporter’s request to proceed with her inquiry, saying, “Let them come, it is okay” while they waited.

Be cautious, there are a lot of people, she warned, making fun of the sparse turnout. And, she said, if you can find a seat.

“Perhaps they have better munchies inside. Better than this place,” she muttered.

And to top it all off, she added another clever remark, “Oh, they went for the weekend. Everyone left for the weekend,” she said, her face beaming with glee.

The Tunisian is a well-known celebrity in her own country and is well-liked by tennis fans throughout the globe for her amusing remarks.

The WTA player, who is now ranked No. 6 in the world, is still looking for her first grand slam triumph and will attempt to break her duck at the current All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club edition of the famed grass-court major.

On Saturday, the 28-year-old will compete in the third round of the All-England Championships against Canadian star Belinda Bencic.
