<p>Renowned Tamil and Telugu actress Trisha has taken a strong stance against former AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) leader AV Raju for his divisive and hurtful comments directed at her. The actress responded angrily to the politician on her X (formerly known as Twitter) account.</p>

<p>“Seeing low life and vile people who would do everything to get attention is revolting on a regular basis. You may be confident that harsh and required action will be taken. From now on, my legal department will handle whatever that has to be stated or done,” the Ponniyin Selvan actress added.</p>
<p>The AIADMK most recently fired AV Raju on February 17 for breaking party regulations. Following his expulsion, he made disparaging remarks about Trisha. According to reports, AV Raju said that the actress received a substantial payment after being invited to an MLA’s resort. For using derogatory language, he received criticism and abuse from all directions.</p>
<p>Trisha has dealt with similar circumstances before. Mansoor Ali Khan made some obscene comments about wanting to conduct exploitative scenes with her in November of last year. Though they shared a screen in the action flick Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj, Mansoor and Trisha did not share a scene.</p>
<p>Trisha subsequently commented on her X account in response to Khan’s remarks, saying, “I’ve come across a recent video in which Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken in a vile and disgusting manner about me.” This is sexist, insulting, misogynistic, disgusting, and in poor taste, all of which I vehemently reject. He may keep hoping, but I am happy that I have never had to share screen time with someone as pitiful as him, and I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen for the remainder of my cinematic career. People such as him tarnish humanity’s reputation.”</p>
<p>After first apologizing to Trisha, Mansoor reversed course and filed a defamation lawsuit against the actress, which the judge dismissed.</p>
